ONLINE PERCEPTION-FORMING TRAININGS
Adapting to the changed circumstances during the pandemic and the needs of the institutions that contacted us, we have moved our awareness-raising programs involving assistance dogs to the online space.
Taking advantage of the possibilities of digital platforms, the emphasis will continue to be on interactivity, variety, the presentation of the everyday lives of service dogs and their disabled owners, and team building. The sessions will be conducted with the participation of our certified experts with experience in hearing, mobility and vision impairments, as well as our colleagues who own therapy dogs.
The entire program consists of several stages:
1. A few days before the session, we will send you a “tune-up” video with a task to be solved in groups (the short film of a few minutes was made specifically for this type of program).
2. Interactive, online training (90 minutes).
3. After the session, we will present the participating team with a storybook titled Kuku and his friends – Let’s explore the world of assistance dogs together!, as well as some online games created by assistance dog owners.
Recommended age group: from upper secondary school (fifth grade onwards), older students and adults also enjoy our programs.
The program can be implemented in two types of absence situations:
1. The participants are together (e.g. in a classroom or office building meeting room), and our colleagues connect to them online (in this case, a projection screen and projector are required).
2. Everyone connects to the training via their own computer and webcam (even from home).
Since interactivity is ensured – among other things – by a special application developed for this purpose, a smartphone is recommended for participating in the session.
We always try to tailor our online sessions to the needs of schools, workplaces, and organizations. If you are interested in the program, please contact our staff!
